Special Education Teacher
Sarah earned her Postgraduate Certificate in Play Therapy from Academy of Play and Child Psychotherapy (United Kingdom) in the year 2015. She also graduated with Advanced Diploma in Counselling Psychology, 2012 and Diploma In Learning Disorder Management & Child Psychology from College of Allied Educators in 2009. Sarah has 15 years of experience working with children Sarah has worked in various special education schools and intervention centres.
Being a highly adaptable and versatile educator, she have enjoyed the opportunity to teach a diverse group of children, including those with ADD/ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), speech impairment and other learning difficulties. These experiences have helped Sarah to blossom into a well-rounded and compassionate individual who takes each student’s unique goals, needs and interest into mind and create effective and interesting learning experience for them.
Being a mother of a toddler herself, she relates well to the students’ interest and parents’ concerns. Sarah hopes to make a little change in each child that she meets along her journey.
She is conversant in English and Tamil.
