Hagit has completed a Postgraduate Certification as Clinical Supervisor as well. Since the completion of her training in Therapeutic Play Skills, Hagit has been working with children at HeadStart for Life as well as in international and local primary schools. She works therapeutically with children in both individual and group settings as well as in dyadic sessions for parents and child when needed. She provides workshops and one-to-one sessions to parents, caregivers and teachers. Hagit has experience in helping children, both typical and atypical, manage their emotional, behavioural and social difficulties.
Prior to her training, Hagit worked as a Human Resource manager in high-tech companies for 8 years and her focus was on employee soft skills, recruiting, mentoring and solving conflicts by using her counseling skills. During this period, she volunteered as a Life Coach at American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC) and as a social facilitator in a mental health hospital.
Hagit is an advocate of play and expressive arts as children’s natural medium of communication. She believes in a holistic approach; thus, she encourages parents’ involvement as an integral part of the therapy. Hagit enjoys helping children in their journey to express themselves and find their inner strength to fulfill their maximum potential through Therapeutic Play.
